October/November things

Catching up over the last month we started off with the Anderson Family Halloween Party in the middle of October when the weather was still warm enough to be outside.

This was the Stevenson clan - not very many of them but apparently hunting was more important!

This was our rockery fountain before we had to re pot the plants - the moss filled in nicely and next year we'll plant a lot more so it fills out.

We decided to take a day trip around Utah lake and it turned out to be quite the adventure.

The sky was so dramatic we had to take a few snaps

This was at the top of one of the mountains surrounding the lake. We stopped and had a picnic which lasted longer than we wanted when the battery died

Dusty trying to figure out what to do as we were on a mountain on the uninhabited side of the lake - hmmm.....

We ended up rolling it down the mountain using just the handbrake to stop. We then found a couple at the bottom willing to give us a jump - it was a pretty interesting way to get down - I think we freaked them out rolling up next to them wanting a jump!

One morning we found this little guy in our bathtub???? Strange or what - I think we can thank the cat for that one! He's still kind of cute so we couldn't be that mad!

On Halloween night, we went to our friends house to celebrate

It was like having 2 Halloweens in one year :)

Leisha, Cecilie and I decided to have a girl's night out at 80s night. Hanging out with just the girls is always so much fun and as you can see we all had great outfits!

Here we are trying to do the Vogue pose - it didn't work so well.
So all in all it was the month to dress up and stuck on a mountain.

You didn't wear your white trash outfit to your other party? How sad! That was the best costume ever!!

It was way too cold for that and maybe a little offensive!

I LOVED your Halloween party outfit! Reminded me of home. I also liked your 80's outfit. You've got the dressing up, down.

How did I miss this post.

I loved your white trash one too. NOT offensive AT ALL.

Kory's battery died this week too! But he was just at work, not in the middle of nowhere.Very clever, we probably would have called a policeman or something. :)

That mouse sicked me out. Sorry we have had our share of mice this year, and I am just DONE.

That fountain was really cool. Kory and I are always saying how we live so close to you guys but never see you. We should really try to get together sometime. And I still need to have Tim over for Scrapbooking :)
