What made reaching this age much more bearable (even enjoyable ;) was Dusty spoiling me with a wonderfully romantic day and everyone else being so great - making it one of the best Birthdays ever!!
I think I managed to extend my Birthday for like a whole week by having a Burston Pond BBQ with Leisha, Kyle and Dusty on Sunday........
Then on my actual Birthday I was able to take the day off and Leisha treated me to a fabulous pedicure and we went on to a Thai lunch with my friends - YUMMY!!!
When we got home Dusty took me on a surprise drive and we ended up at Thanksgiving point Gardens, which is something I've always wanted to do......

La Caille (a French restaurant)was my next surprise and it was absolutely gorgeous.
Everything was so delicious - it was just a shame about the waiter who was so stuck up even the other waitress felt sorry for us and gave us complimentary chocolate strawberries.
The food and its presentation was just fantastic....
SO thanks again to everyone for a great 26th Birthday, it's made my year :)

Happy late birthday! I know how you feel, I am still in denial that this next birthday will mark ten years from when I turned 16, an age I still feel at sometimes. But it sounds like you got treated like a queen! What a nice husband you have!

And that food at the end would have set my mouth to drooling... if it hadn't been for the fact it's stewing in it's own blood. Did you guys just skin it yourselves and set it in the plate?
