St George

To celebrate our new found freedom from the puppy adventure, we decided to take a last minute trip to St George to enjoy some warm weather. It was so nice to get away from the snow and stress. On Saturday morning we went out to the desert by Mesquite and found this giant hole.

Of Course we had to go in it

Dusty showing off not one but two flashlights - LOL - he's pimping!

We had a great hike up here and thought ahead to leave two bottles at the bottom for some shooting practice

On top of the really windy mountain - it looks like I have a toupee :)

I love the background on this photo - I wish I was there now

Dusty being a spaz on the red rocks

We thought this was a funny placement of the I15 freeway sign

Nearly falling in the Virgin river

Saturday night exploring the back roads of St George

The next day we went up to Enterprise which was only about 30 miles from St George but you can see the difference - it was freezing! Dusty climbed down the dodgy dam but I don't have a good photo of it - don't you love that there is water coming through it and freezing - I'm no dam expert but I don't think it's supposed to do that!

Puppy was taken back to her breeders - too much commitment

Sad but I understand, those pictures are great, and you guys have so much adventure!

I'm bummed you don't have your dog. That dam looks sketchy.

That leaky dam is kinda unsettling.

At least you don't do that with kids :) I love that you guys go on trips all the time.

I don't blame you about taking the puppy back. I know I probably would have done the same thing. My sister swears she will NEVER get a puppy again. However, she would get an older dog. She loves her dog, but the puppy phase was really hard. Anyway, congrats on your freedom! You two will most likely be way busy this summer. Jetsetting and whatnot. :)

Your puppy story reminds me of that stand up comedy guy, Bill Burr "Let it go".
