We stopped off on Thursday night in Beaver to pick up our friend and as his family has a cabin up in the mountains we all stayed the night there. There aren't any photos of the cabin as it was dark when we got there but it was amazing - more like a house than a cabin.
We got straight to business and busted out the fire and s'mores - yum!

We finally made it to Laughin and oh my, it was hot! I think the average temperature was 116 so we had to entertain ourselves in the hotel.........
This is the first time I've ever won at gambling - $14 from $2 - I just knew Kitty Glitter was my winning machine :)
We spent a lot of time at the pool - it was really relaxing....you may be asking, why are they in a hot tub in 116 degrees.....I'm afraid there's no logical answer!!

Justin had the great idea to float the Colorado river to his Grandparents' house. We tied all 5 tubes together and it was so much fun but if the guy on the wave runner hadn't towed us to shore we'd probably be in Mexico by now!

Dusty, Justin and Derek all have birthdays within 3 weeks of each other so we bought them a cake and added the number of candles for all their ages combined - it nearly lit the garage on fire!!

WHOOT!! Give it up for the money winner! I would have been stoked about the 14 bucks, too. I never win anything, especially from slots.
Looks like Dusty had a great b-day. However, i totally would have died in that hot weather. And going into the hot tub? That's insane. I would have melted. But you two like the heat, huh? Crazies.

I knew Kitty Glitter would be Kyle's machine too. There's no way he would pass that up. Thinking of you guys in the hot tub in that heat made me feel a little faint. I've been way to hot lately to tolerate that.

That hot tub is huge! I once one $30 from $1 in a slot machine on a layover at the Vegas airport.
