Luckily we took the before photos when trying to sell the house so we have something to compare it against.
Before....
Having limited tools, this was the only way we could think to get it out.
Bye bye crappy all in one tub.....
This photo perfectly sums up how we felt at this stage - the plumbing. We both hated our lives because nothing would go right and this is after trying to fit the tub for the last day or two. We ended up having to take out the toilet, door frame and the plumbing that Dusty had just finished - ahhhh!
We put up more silicone and water resistant product that anyone could use in 3 bathrooms vowing that this was the last bathroom update ever (probably unlikely but it's good to be hopeful)
This is the almost finished product after having no water and toilet for days at a time and wanting to pull our hair out - it was finally all worth it. The bath is about 5 inches deeper and 3 inches wider - sheer bliss!!
We still have to caulk some more and paint but it's fully functional and I love it!

That looks great! You two did an excellent job and I will immensely enjoy trying out the facilities at book club. I was so stressed for you, having no water. Truly. But I have a question, why are there no topless pictures of you working on the shower? Your comments would go from like 7 to a bazillion. ;)
I hate plumbing. It looks really good though.
that tub is the best tub you will ever have!!! we have that same tub and it is so deep! i love it!! it looks great and after you get over the trauma of it all, you'll think its worth it!
