Thanksgiving Weekend

We didn't have the boys this Thanksgiving so we decided to take a mini road trip down to San Diego. We left at about midday on Wednesday and stopped off in Vegas for the night to watch the blue man group. They were great and I was able to push the little kids out of the way afterwards to get a picture with one of them ;)
One of my favorite parts of Vegas was the Bolagio fountain...I could watch it for hours!

The next day we drove to San Diego and checked into our old school hotel that had the coolest old fashioned elevator - it was slow but that just gave us the chance to see who could make it up to the sixth floor quickest - by elevator or stairs!

The hotel also had a great roof top patio to watch the sunset over the city on.

Just checking out the fire escape capability....

We were then able to relax at the local bars.

The next day we spent visiting all of the beaches, the best part being that we found a sand dollar :)

We were staying in the Gas Lamp district so each night we could go out and find interesting old buildings and great places to eat.

On our last day in San Diego we visited Balboa park which was fantastic.
We stayed in Vegas on Saturday night and hung out with Kyle who moved back there last month.
What a cute couple!!

It was a well needed break but I'm still recovering!

That looks so fun. Your hotel looked especially cool. I'm pretty jealous of your trip!

I love the old lady in your Blue Man shot. She's pissed she got Blue Man on her.

How DOES one get blue man on them? I'm a little grossed out, myself. Good work on knocking people out of your way to meet them, though. You're a risk-taker. Also, SOOOO jealous of your trip. One day that will be me...I'll be a lot older, and slower, but one day.

Those are great pictures. I love living vicariously through you guys. You both look so great too. Good job checking out the fire escape. ;) When we were in California with the kids the fire alarm went off and there was about 10 floors at the hotel and we all had to evacuate down the stairs. The kids actually did very well, I was impressed.

Either Tanya hates her job, or hates you for stealing her blue man.
