1 cup AP flour
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder (I used about 1/2 tsp)
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp of red pepper - I also added black pepper and Italian seasoning to taste
1/4 cup butter
3-5 tbsp cold water
1 egg - I didn't have any but I bet it's better with it.
Heat oven to 400
Combine dry ingredients, crumble in butter and cheese until mixture resembles small peas. Sprinkle water in a little at a time, mix with knife until the mixture forms a ball. Roll out on floured surface to 10 inch circle and cut into desired width. Brush with egg or milk (I sprinkled Parmesan cheese on the top for a little extra kick but you don't have to) then twist and lay on well greased baking sheet. Bake for about 10-20 minutes depending on how thick they are and there you go, yummy cheese straws :)

Yowzas. Those look delish! Thanks for the info.
Those look yummy! When are we getting together for a cupcake or lunch?
The title sounded really gross.
But the actual product sounds delectable.
How much and what kind of cheese?
Oh dear I forgot the cheese in the chesse straws! It was 1 cup of cheddar cheese. :)
How you eat those and remain as thin as a rail?? You MUST tell me your secrets:). I'm really gonna try those one day when I start cooking again!
Those look yummy for sure, anything with cheese in it is my bestest friend. Too bad if I try to make those I have to eat them all by myself.
Those look yummy! You are an amazing cook!
