L is for Light
I have been working in my home office for about 6 months now and every day I would wish that I had better lighting. I brought a lamp in but it didn't do the trick so this weekend we were in Lowe's picking up a electrical socket cover, that I broke when we painted our bedroom (yes it really has stayed uncovered for this long) and I noticed a really pretty light on sale for $22, reduced from $30 - it was love at first sight. I knew we really couldn't afford it but I just couldn't resist - so now it is sitting proudly above me providing ample light :) Oh and I copied Shauna's title style because, like her, I also tried my hand at eclectics and wired this bad boy myself!

I love it too! Ours our so ugly and outdated. Someday I'll have my own home and it won't be a waste to buy things like that!
It's funny you mention that - we've had this one light, that is now in the living room, that has been in every home since we got marrried :)
