New Year's Vacation

I'm a week late in posting this blog but it's better late than never right??
As it was a long weekend I thought it was high time that our bedroom got a fresh coat of paint. I thought it would be one of the first things we would do in the house but it kept being put on the back burner - mainly because we couldn't decide on a color. It's finally finished, 3 walls silver sage and one mediterranean white. Here it is in progress.......
The Saturday after, Mark (Dusty's Dad) asked for us to go shooting with him, Brit and Austin in the desert. We didn't find anything but it was fun to hike around and shoot bottles!

I love that picture of you in the room with the paint. For many different reasons that I won't go into. It feels good to finish something that has been on the back burner.

We used to go shooting when I was little. We once used a big zuchini that Chris gave to my parents as a target.

It is really satisfying - it looks great as well and I will post the finished product as soon as Dusty fixes the bed that I took apart :)

I really like those colors you picked out, looks great! I can't wait to see the final project.

I made the butterfly, well my Cricut machine did, I just put the pieces together. You are welcome to come over and use it whenever you would like...

I want to see your room when it's finished, too. I really, REALLY like the silver sage color. It looks like something you'd see at a spa.
